Lexington, NC -- A woman in Davidson County was arrested for allegedly allowing two runaway boys to live in her house.
The charges came after deputies received a call about two juvenile males who ran away from their home in Thomasville. Officers found them at a house on W. Green St.
Detectives allege that from February 28 through March 1 Laura Deanne Hughes, 46, housed the juveniles knowing they had run away from home.
Hughes was arrested and charged with two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
Hughes was given a $10,000.00 unsecured bond. She is scheduled to appear in court April 9.
