Aliquippa, PA-- A man in Pennsylvania is facing charges after police accuse him of beating his wife with a package of frozen ground beef.
Police in Aliquippa said they were called to the home of 51-year-old William Neugebauer on Tuesday for a domestic disturbance call. Officers reported that a woman, Wendy Neugebauer, had swelling on her rib cage. She told police that her husband had hit her with the meat.
William Neugebauer ran away before police arrived, but they arrested him about a half hour later when he returned home, officers said.
The Beaver County Times reports that Neugebaure facing charges of Simple Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Harassment and Public Drunkenness.
He remained jailed Friday unable to post $10,000 bond, according to online court documents. No attorney is listed for him.
