Aggies Win Second Game In A Row

Greensboro, NC -- Michael Ferguson ran for 100 yards and a touchdown to lead North Carolina A&T to a 14-8 victory over Winston-Salem on Saturday night.

The Aggies (2-0) took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a 2-yard run by quarterback Herb Miller. Tienn Jefferson answered with a 3-yard scoring run in the second for the Rams (0-1) to tie the game at 7-7. But Ferguson, who also had 20 carries, scored on a 12-yard run in the fourth quarter with 13:57 left in the game to put North Carolina A&T ahead for good.

Miller threw for 83 yards and had 40 yards on the ground for the Aggies. Jefferson passed for 152 yards, while Roderick Fluellen ran for 71 yards on 15 carries for Winston-Salem.

More than 21,000 people showed up to watch the game.
