Charlotte, NC -- The 2007 ACC Tournament in Tampa left a bitter taste in the mouths of the Duke basketball team. As a seven-seed, the Devils were ousted by NC State in the first round.
Now this year, after a first round bye, the Devils used a balance attack against Georgia Tech to put the memories of last year behind them.
The Blue Devil beat the Yellow Jackets 82-70 in the ACC quarterfinals. Jon Scheyer scored 18 points to lead the way for Duke.
Next up on Saturday is Clemson who crushed Boston College in the semifinals.
