Durham, NC - Rumors swirled Thursday evening about Andre Dawkins' status on the Duke University men's basketball team.
According to the university:
"Andre Dawkins remains a member of the Duke Basketball program. There is a possibility of him redshirting next season but no decision will be made on that until the fall."
Dawkins is a large contributor to the Blue Devil offense. In 2011-12 he averaged 8.5 points per game, 2.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists.
