RALEIGH, N.C. - Forward Tyler Harris has asked for and been granted his release from the NC State men's basketball team it has been announced.
"I'm disappointed that my staff and I won't have the opportunity to continue working with Tyler," said head coach Mark Gottfried. "I wish him well in his future academic and athletic pursuits."
Harris averaged 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 19 games with three starts last season.
