Greensboro, NC - Former Greensboro Grasshopper Giancarlo (Mike) Stanton was named to the National League All-Star Team on Sunday.

Now with the Miami Marlins, Stanton has hit 19 homeruns and 50 RBI's this season.

Stanton was also named the National League Player of the Month in May.

While with the Hoppers, the outfielder hit 39 homeruns with 97 RBI's.
