The Carolina League All-Star is hitting .331 with 13 HR's and 59 RBI's on the season.
Shoemaker has been rewarded by being called up to the Chicago White Sox Double-A Team in Birmingham.
Shoemaker leaves as the league leader in batting average, RBI's, runs and total bases.
