Sacramento, CA -- Greensboro United U15 Navy Girls beat the Dallas Texans 2-1 in overtime this morning to take the 2012 Presidents Cup title.
Greensboro made it to the championship after tying a Virginia team Saturday, earning them a spot in the finals.
News 2 has been following the team's journey since it clinched a spot in the national tournament back in June.
The team's championship run started Thursday when it beat a team from Colorado. Friday, Greensboro tied Dallas, and then tied the Virginia team Saturday on its way to the rematch with the Texans.
