Greensboro, N.C.--The Carolina Dynamo have moved one step closer to the PDL National Title with a win over Reading United.

Hakan Ilhan put the Dynamo ahead 1-0 with his first half goal.

David Rodriguez tied it up in the second half.

After a scoreless OT, the teams went to Penalty Kicks.

Goalkeeper Peyton Ford stepped up and put the winner in the back of the net as Carolina prevailed 8-7.

Carolina takes on Ottawa Sunday night at 6pm with a berth in the PDL Semifinals on the line.
