Browns Summit, NC - The Carolina Dynamo semi-pro soccer team fell short in its quest for a national championship.
The Dynamo put up one goal in the 27th minute of the first half on Saturday night. Hakan Ilhan (UNCG) assisted Donnie Smith (UNC Charlotte) to put Carolina up 1-0.
The team lost 2-1 in the final after five minutes of extra time.
Carolina ends the season with a record of 11-1-5.
