Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Bradford Burgess led all scorers with 22 points as the Virginia Commonwealth Rams made easy work of the Towson Tigers 66-43 in Colonial Athletic Association play at the Siegel Center.

Burgess went 8-of-15 from the field and 6-of-11 from three-point range for VCU (21-5, 12-2 CAA). D.J. Haley tallied a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Rams, who are riding a 10-game win streak.

For Towson (1-25, 1-13), Robert Nwankwo recorded 19 points and nine rebounds. The Tigers have lost three in a row after snapping their record-setting losing streak on January 28.

VCU shot 44.8 percent from the field in the first half and took a 32-20 lead into the break. Towson committed 13 turnovers in the half.

A Nwankwo layup with 17:10 remaining cut the Tiger deficit to 11, but they would get no closer as VCU proceeded to go on a 19-8 run to extend its lead to 54-32 and never looked back.

Towson turned the ball over an astounding 28 times in the game, which led to 35 VCU points.
