Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Gerald Robinson scored a career-high 27 points
as the Georgia Bulldogs made easy work of the Arkansas Razorbacks 81-59 in an
SEC tilt at Stegeman Coliseum.
Robinson finished 10-of-13 from the field while adding six boards and five
assists for Georgia (11-12, 2-7 SEC). Ken Caldwell-Pope went for 18 points,
Nemanja Djurisic tallied 14 points and Marcus Thornton netted 10 points for
the Bulldogs, who snap a four-game losing streak.
For Arkansas (16-8, 4-5), B.J. Young recorded 16 points and Mardracus Wade
scored 15. Marvell Waithe added 10 points for the Razorbacks, who have lost
all seven of their road games this season.
Georgia got out to a comfortable 43-24 lead after the first half behind a 56.3
percent shooting from the floor. Arkansas made good on just 6-of-23 from the
field in the frame.
While Arkansas' shooting improved to 46.2 percent in the second half, Georgia
had already built a lead too insurmountable.
Georgia outrebounded Arkansas 44-21 and the Bulldogs dominated in the paint as
well, outscoring the Razorbacks 34-16.
