Kennewick, WA (Sports Network) - Mike Ladd scored a game-high 17 points as the
Washington State Cougars cruised by the Idaho State Bengals, 74-39, at the
Toyota Center.
Ladd made good on 6-of-8 from the floor including two 3-pointers and was one
rebound shy of a double-double for the Cougars (9-4). Brock Motum also scored
17 points to go with seven rebounds, while DaVonte Lacy contributed 16 points
in the win.
For the Bengals (1-10), Chris Hansen scored a team-high 12 points but was the
only Idaho State player in double-figures.
The Cougars made good on 4-of-9 from shots beyond the arc while limiting their
opponents to a mere 6-of-20 from the floor, en route to a 34-14 advantage at
the half.
Washington State continued it's impressive shooting, going 11-of-22 from the
floor while making 15-of-20 from behind the free-throw line in the second
half.
Washington State dominated on the boards, 43-16, and second chance points,
20-0.
