Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Daniel Miller and Robert Carter Jr. each scored
14 points to lead the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to a 73-48 rout of the
Fordham Rams in non-conference action at McCamish Pavilion.
Miller was a rebound shy of a double-double and Mfon Udofia handed out seven
assists for Georgia Tech (9-2) which has won five straight.
Branden Frazier scored 17 points and handed out five assists for Fordham
(3-10). Chris Gaston added 16 points and eight rebounds.
Georgia Tech led 35-25 at halftime after shooting 44.8 percent while holding
Fordham to 28.6 percent shooting in the first 20 minutes.
The Yellow Jackets improved to 55.2 percent shooting and the Rams continued to
struggle, netting just 27.6 percent of their field goal attempts, in the
second half.
Georgia Tech outscored Fordham 40-16 on points in the paint and 14-4 on points
off turnovers.
