Fresno, CA (Sports Network) - Dorian Green scored 17 points as the Colorado
State Rams took down the Fresno State Bulldogs, 74-63, in a Mountain West
Conference clash at the Save Mart Center.
Wes Eikmeier and Pierce Hornung each added 12 points and Colton Iverson and
Greg Smith each tacked on 11 for Colorado State (16-4, 3-2 MWC) which has won
three of its last four. Iverson also brought in a game-high 13 rebounds.
Tyler Johnson scored 23 points and Marvelle Harris and Allen Huddleston each
added 15 for Fresno State (7-12, 1-5) which has lost five of its last six.
Colorado State got out to a 38-20 lead at the half by shooting 47.8 percent
from the field while holding Fresno State to just 32 percent shooting.
In the second half the Rams cooled to 40.9 percent shooting but, using a
17-of-21 effort from the free-throw line, were able to hold on for the win.
The Rams had a 40-21 edge in rebounds and outscored the Bulldogs 29-17 from
the charity stripe.
