shooting for the Huskies (17-6, 7-4 Big East), who got 15 points and six
rebounds from Omar Calhoun. Michael Carter-Williams had 15 points for Syracuse

into the contest on a two-game losing streak. Rotnei Clarke had a game-high

10 for the Lobos (21-4, 8-2 MWC), who avoided losing back-to-back games after
falling at UNLV on Saturday. The matchup between the first and last place
teams in the Mountain West Conference was surprisingly tight, as Fresno
State (8-15, 2-8) held an 11-point halftime lead before being limited to 27
percent shooting from the field after the break. Kevin Olekaibe hit three of

outlasted Louisville on the same court, and marked the second time this
month the schools needed an extra five minutes to determine a victor. The
outcome was the same, as Grant logged 21 points and nine assists and
Cooley added 16 points and 10 rebounds to carry Notre Dame (20-5, 8-4 Big
East) to its fifth win in six games. The Blue Demons (10-14, 1-10) have lost
nine in a row since earning their lone conference win against Providence,
though three have come in overtime affairs. Cleveland Melvin and Brandon
Young paced DePaul with 23 and 20 points, respectively.

UCF Knights. Geron Johnson filled the stat sheet with 19 points, nine
rebounds and eight assists for Memphis (21-3, 10-0 C-USA), which notched its
15th straight win. Adonis Thomas scored 17 points, while Chris Crawford

7-2 MWC), who are ranked in the AP poll for the first time since 1954 and
increased their home winning streak to 27 games. Greg Smith added 15 points
and seven rebounds and Pierce Hornung chipped in 12 points, eight boards
and four assists in the victory. Chase Tapley scored 16 points and J.J.
