Greensboro, NC - The East-West All-Star soccer matchups did not disappoint on Tuesday night in Greensboro.
Held at UNCG Soccer Stadium, the girls took the pitch first.
Morehead City's own Tristan Briggs put the East Team up in the first half with her goal.
Samantha Childress, from East Forsyth, didn't waste any time tying the game up minutes later.
The game ended in a 1-1 tie.
The boys' game followed with an 8:30 PM start.
Fuquay-Varina's Adrian Gonzalez scored for the East Team with 32 minutes left on the clock in the first half.
Trey Hemphill (TC Roberson) responded with a goal of his own for the West team with 25 minutes left in the 1st half. The game stood tied at 1-1.
In the ninth minute, Shelby's Jerry Zeller scored for the West team, putting them up 2-1.
The West won 3-2. They now lead the series 3-0-1.
