Greensboro, NC - You'd feel sorry for the seniors of the 2011 Southwest Guilford football team. After an in-game fight early in the season, the Cowboys were banned from the postseason.
Four years of developing talent, only to be wiped away due to the choices and tempers of a select few.
But Southwest Guilford has come to terms with the mistakes made last season. Now, this coaching staff, lead by Head Coach Scott Schwarzer, is changing the culture at Southwest.
A team lecture during the first week of practice preached to not just be respectful on the football field, but in the classroom and in life.
To hear Coach Schwarzer's full comment on how they're changing the mentality of high school football, and his thoughts on the upcoming season, click on the video attached to this article.
