Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Braves activated third baseman
Chipper Jones from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, a little more than two
weeks after he had knee surgery.
Jones, who is set to retire at the end of the season, had a procedure March 26
to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.
The 39-year-old infielder is entering his 19th major league season, all with
the Braves.
Atlanta was in Houston for the second game of a three-game series against the
Astros.
