Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Five days after fracturing the pinkie on
his right hand, David Wright felt no ill-effects in his return to the Mets'
lineup.
The New York third baseman homered in his first at-bat and singled twice as
the Mets blanked the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-0, in the middle test of a
three-game set at Citizens Bank Park.
Lucas Duda clubbed a two-run homer for the Mets, who have taken the first two
games of this series to improve to 6-2 on the young season.
Jon Niese (2-0) limited the Phillies to five singles over 6 2/3 innings. Bobby
Parnell and Jon Rauch shut down Philadelphia the rest of the away.
Vance Worley (0-1) gave up four runs on eight hits and walked four in six
