Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Chipper Jones hit a three-run homer in his
return to the lineup, Brandon Beachy went seven solid innings and the Braves
completed a three-game sweep of the Brewers with a 7-4 win on Sunday.
The Braves, winners of five straight, were without Jones for the previous two
games due to swelling in his surgically repaired left knee.
Beachy (1-1) allowed an unearned run on three hits and two walks while
striking out six. Jason Heyward hit a solo home run, Eric Hinske had a two-run
single and Brian McCann added an RBI.
Chris Narveson (1-1) gave up five runs on four hits over four innings in the
loss. Jonathan Lucroy had an RBI single in the second and a two-run homer in
the ninth. Corey Hart added an RBI double in the ninth for the Brewers, who
have dropped four in a row overall and eight straight at Turner Field.
