Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Phillies have placed pitcher Michael Stutes on the 15-day disabled list and recalled pitcher Michael Schwimer from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Stutes is bothered by right shoulder inflammation. He has no record with a 6.35 earned run average in six games out of the bullpen this season and last pitched on Saturday against San Diego.

Schwimer was 1-0 with a 1.04 ERA and two saves in seven games for Lehigh Valley. He appeared in 12 games for the Phillies last year and posted a record of 1-1 with a 5.02 ERA.
