Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton was
released from the hospital Saturday after dealing with an intestinal virus.
He is expected to work out before Sunday's series finale against Houston and
is hoping to return for Monday's game at San Diego.
Hamilton began feeling symptoms Friday morning and received IV fluids. The
2010 American League MVP has been an integral part of the Rangers' offensive
producition this year, hitting .330 with 22 homers and 62 RBI for the division
leaders.
