Sarasota, FL (Sports Network) - Nolan Reimold had two solo homers on three
hits and Nate McLouth also added a solo shot and totaled two hits as the
Baltimore Orioles edged the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-5, on Wednesday.
J.J. Hardy and Chris Davis each added a solo home run for the Orioles, who saw
starter Zach Britton last just 1 2/3 innings and allow five runs on seven
hits. The remaining Baltimore relievers, however, allowed just three hits to
close out the contest.
J.P. Arencibia had three hits, including two doubles, with three RBI, while
Emilio Bonifacio added a two-run homer in defeat. Starter Jeremy Jeffress
struck out three, gave up three runs on four hits -- including three home runs
-- over two innings.
