Washington, DC (Sports Network) - With Dwight Howard missing his second
straight contest with back spasms, Kevin Seraphin took advantage, recording
career-highs in points with 24 and rebounds with 13 as the Wizards defeated
the Magic, 93-85, at Verizon Center on Tuesday.
Jordan Crawford poured in 21 points, John Wall added 15 and James Singleton
and Cartier Martin added 12 points apiece to help the Wizards to their second
consecutive victory.
Jameer Nelson paced the Magic with 19 points to go with seven assists, J.J.
Redick netted 15 points and Quentin Richardson chipped in 14 points for the
Magic, who had won two straight on the heels of a five-game skid.
Orlando now occupies the sixth position in the East and sits a 1/2 game behind
the idle Atlanta Hawks for fifth.
