San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Tim Duncan scored 20 of his 28 points in
the second half and added 12 rebounds, as the San Antonio Spurs took down the
Memphis Grizzlies, 107-97, on Thursday.
Manu Ginobili, who was a perfect 11-of-11 from the free-throw line, netted 20
points to go with six boards and four assists for San Antonio, which snapped a
two-game skid on the heels of an 11-game winning streak. Tony Parker had 13
points to go with nine assists.
The Spurs moved a half-game behind the idle Oklahoma City Thunder for the top
spot in the Western Conference.
Rudy Gay had 19 points for the Grizzlies, who had won seven of their last
eight contests coming in.
Memphis dropped 1 1/2 games behind Los Angeles, which defeated Minnesota on
Thursday, for the fourth seed in the West.
