Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Martell Webster's career-high 34 points led
five Washington starters in double-figures, as the Wizards thumped the Phoenix
Suns, 127-105, for their third straight win.
Webster was 10-for-18 from the field -- including 7-of-10 from beyond the arc
-- for Washington, which shot an impressive 66.7 percent (14-of-21) from long
distance as a team to snap a 10-game losing streak to Phoenix.
Emeka Okafor and John Wall both had double-doubles, with each scoring 17
points. Okafor tallied 10 rebounds and Wall registered 11 assists in the win.
Michael Beasley scored a team-best 21 points off the bench for the Suns,
losers of four in a row. Jared Dudley added 16 points with Jermaine O'Neal and
Goran Dragic each contributing 12. Dragic also had 11 assists.
