Allen Park, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Lions have signed veteran
offensive tackle Jonathan Scott to a one-year deal on Tuesday.
A six-year veteran, Scott returns to Detroit after spending the past two
seasons with Pittsburgh where he started 14 of the 28 games he played in.
A fifth-round pick of Detroit in 2006, he played his first two seasons with
Detroit then went to Buffalo for the next two years before heading to
Over his time in the NFL, he has played in 58 games and started 28.
To make room on the roster, the Lions released tackle Johnny Culbreath, who
was a seventh-round pick of the Lions in 2011 and spent the season on injured
reserve with an undisclosed illness. He was arrested in January for marijuana
