Seoul, Korea (Sports Network) - Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki earned a trip
into the final of the Korea Open with a three-set win over Ekaterina Makarova
on Saturday.
Wozniacki notched a 6-1, 5-7, 6-4 victory over the eighth-seeded Russian.
Wozniacki has 18 career titles, but her best result this year was a runner-up
finish in April in Copenhagen.
Next up for Wozniacki will be third-seeded Kaia Kanepi of Estonia, who
defeated sixth-seeded American Varvara Lepchenko 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
Kanepi has won two titles this year, capturing the season-opening event in
Brisbane and the French Open tune-up in Estoril back in May.
Wozniacki leads Kanepi in their head-to-head series, 3-2.
