Kickoff to Kindergarten
The fourth annual Kickoff to Kindergarten will be August 23 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Greensboro Children's Museum. The Kickoff to Kindergarten celebration is in partnership with several community organizations including the High Point Museum. The event is for children entering kindergarten and their families. The goal is to get the children excited about entering school. At the event there will be teachers, principals, a school bus students can board, and community groups who provide extra-curricular activities to young children.
Last year 212 kindergartners attended with their families totaling 650 people. Many museums across the state and country hold their own special events celebrating the transition to kindergarten and we are excited to be part of this important time in the lives of area kindergartners.
