Weather Summary:
High pressure has started to take control of the Triad for the holiday weekend. Cool temperatures, however, will accompany this area of high pressure especially Friday night. Once the sun sets temperatures will steadily drop under a generally clear sky. Low temperatures Saturday morning will be in the low 40s with even a few upper 30s possible in rural areas.
Saturday will start off sunny and give way to just a few clouds through the afternoon. High temperatures Saturday will be in the low 70s, a good 5-10 degrees below normal.
A little bit of cloud cover will return to the sky Sunday afternoon, but it'll be primarily high cloud cover. Temperatures on Sunday will be a few degrees warmer than Saturday with highs in the middle 70s.
Memorial Day itself will be partly sunny with a very small chance of an isolated shower, but primarily to the north and west of the Triad. High temperatures Memorial Day will be in the mid-upper 70s.
