WEATHER SUMMARY:
Relatively unsettled weather will remain in place over the Triad through Wednesday. The chance of a few stray showers or isolated thunderstorms will remain across the Triad Tuesday evening with an otherwise variably cloudy sky.
Temperatures Tuesday night will drop through the 70s and eventually bottom out in the middle 60s early Wednesday morning.
A frontal boundary to the north and west will stall out over the mountains Wednesday which will be the focus of a few showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon. The chance of rain will remain relatively small across the entire area, but a few showers cannot be completely ruled out. Temperatures Wednesday afternoon will be in the low 80s under a partly sunny sky.
Drier air will begin to usher in through the day on Thursday which will eliminate the chance of rain, but cloud cover will remain. Sky conditions on Thursday will be partly sunny with high temperatures in the low 80s.
