WEATHER SUMMARY:
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will remain possible through a majority of the week. Warmth and humidity will be on the rise, however, adding a little discomfort to the afternoon air. High temperatures through the middle of the week with be in the middle 80s with heat index values in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
A cold front is expected to swing through the Triad late Thursday bringing an increased chance of showers and storms through the day Thursday into Thursday night. Once the cold front moves east of the Triad high pressure will move in and provide relief from the warm, humid and stormy conditions of the week.
Currently the weekend looks fantastic with abundant sunshine and temperatures in the middle-upper 70s.
