Warmer & dry for Mother's Day

Mornings will be cool, afternoons will be comfy. Rain returns by Tuesday

Tuesday: Mostly Cloudy. Showers Likely. High 71.

Wednesday: Partly Cloudy. Scattered Showers. High 75.

WEATHER SUMMARY: 

High pressure over the southeastern U.S. will deliver more very nice weather for Mother's Day and Monday. Clouds and shower chances will be on the increase Tuesday. Today will be partly sunny and nice. The high will be 75. Tonight, will be clear. The low will be near 50. It is possible the Northern Light could be seen again tonight as more solar energy is forecast to arrive in the earth's upper-atmosphere. The display may not as spectacular as Friday night and last night. The solar storm will continue to weaken with time. Any lights will come in waves and not be continuous. Take a look and see!

A cold front and low pressure will track east out of the Plains. Clouds will increase Tuesday morning and showers will develop Tuesday afternoon and continue into Wednesday. The high on Tuesday will be 71, and 75 on Wednesday. Morning low temperatures will be near 60. Thursday looks partly sunny and mainly dry. The high will warm to near 80. Another system will track our way and bring a shower chance on Friday.

The normal low is 56, and the normal high is 77.
